Ultraviolet (UV) lighting and UV parties have become increasingly popular over the past few years. In this article I highlight the benefits of UV Discos and lighting and cover the type of events where it’s used.
Back in the 1970’s and 80’s, UV lighting was a standard element of a mobile discos lighting set. With modern LED lighting technology, UV lighting is fully controllable and the brightness adjusted for each venue. It creates the same great effect but it is considerably better and more versatile. All or part of the venue can be lit up. It can look really stunning and create that ‘wow” factor, making your party unique.
UV lighting is popular at all types of functions. This includes, corporate events, wedding receptions, as a separate mood lighting option, Christmas events, Halloween and also at children’s/teenagers parties & school proms.During 2018 & 2019 I’ve seen a 50% increase in enquiries for UV lighting, demonstrating the popularity.
I recommend UV lighting is used in addition to other disco lighting effects.
This year I have by request used UV lighting instead of mood lighting at several wedding receptions. It really created a different and very unique effect.
How much does UV lighting cost? For my standard UV lighting package, there is no additional cost. For the deluxe option which I recommend for larger venues a where a greater coverage is required, the additional cost is at the special price of only £50.
UV lighting is also now a very popular standard addition if required for childrens and tennagers parties.
I will be very happy to answer any questions relating to UV lighting or any aspects of your party. I look forward to hearing from you very soon.
